BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Francis College Brooklyn Department of Athletics recognized the institution’s men’s water polo team with the Director’s Award for academic excellence at the school’s Student-Athlete Awards Dinner on Monday, April 24.
Presented at St. Francis Brooklyn’s Genovesi Center, the awards ceremony was a salute to the numerous athletic and academic achievements that were accomplished over the past year in Terriers’ athletics.
In addition to the team honors, individual accolades by team were awarded as Nikita Prokhin (So., Toronto, Canada/) earned the men’s water polo Coaches Award. Botond Kadar (So., Budapest, Hungary/Csik Ferenc) garnered the sport’s Newcomer of the Year award.
