BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Deanna Milunas (Sr., Chicago, Ill./Libertyville) of the University of North Carolina registered six goals, 14 assists, 15 steals and three field blocks in a 4-0 weekend for the Tar Heels at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University’s War Memorial Pool to pick-up laurels as the February 20 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division co-Player of the Week.
She led UNC to victories over the University of Virginia (8-7 W), Duke University (9-8 W), James Madison University (10-1 W) and Virginia Tech (10-6 W) to claim the early lead in the division standings.
Milunas shares the award with Duke’s Megan Smith (Med., Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) who scored 20 goals over the course of the inaugural Atlantic Division tournament of the season.
