BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — No. 15-ranked/Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Champion Harvard University will stream its home National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship Play-In game at Blodgett Pool versus Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Champion George Washington University at 1:00 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, November 25, through the Ivy League Network.
A showdown of the two East Coast NCAA conferences with a spot in another play-in game versus No. 4 ranked/Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Champion the University of Southern California on Thursday, November 30, at the Trojans’ home pool of the Uytengsu Aquatics Center, the game will be streamed live.
Further, the contest marks the third meeting of the year between the host Crimson and visiting Colonials as Harvard picked up a 16-11 victory at the Bucknell University Invitational on September 16 in Lewisburg, Pa., prior to topping George Washington at home in Blodgett Pool on October 15 with a 13-9 win during the Harvard Invitational.
It marks the second time in as many years the Crimson will host an NCAA Play-In game as the squad notched a 13-12 overtime win on November 26, 2016, against then MAWPC Champion Bucknell University on the way to a third place finish at the 2017 NCAA Championship hosted by the University of California.
