BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Fullerton College professor Dr. Pete Snyder is attempting to spread water polo one nation at a time as he is presenting Aquatics Clinics and Workshops through the Fulbright–Hays Program.
The goal of the clinics and workshops is to improve, begin and/or expand the sport of water polo in nations.
The clinics include both pool sessions with live demonstrations and include:
- Spanish translations of aquatics literature and technology (http://la84.org/coaching-manuals/)
- Instruction by Dr. Pete Snyder, Former U.S. National Team Coach and Fulbright Specialist.
- Sponsorship by the Fulbright Specialist Program and the Council on International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).
- Support and promotion by Los Angeles ‘84 Olympic Foundation.
- One weekend format designed to help coaches, teachers, players, officials, referees and administrators.
- Both genders and multi-age group participants and materials.
- Geographic areas including Mexico, Central America South America.

The program is currently seeking officials to participate in the Fall 2018 docket of clinics in South America. Officials will need to self-fund their trip.

- Clinic on Friday-Sunday, September 14-16 – Lima, Peru
- Clinic on Friday-Sunday, September 21-23 – Ascension, Paraguay
- Clinic on Friday-Sunday, September 28-30 – Costa Rica
