BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2018 Men’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division schedule.

Comprised of California State University-Chico, California State University-Maritime Academy (Cal Maritime), San Jose State University, Stanford University, the University of California, the University of California-Davis “A”, the University of California-Davis “B”, the University of California-Merced and the University of California-Santa Cruz, the Sierra Pacific Division will contest its eighth season in the CWPA with UC-Santa Cruz (2011) and California (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) combining to claim all seven previous championship titles.

Action commences on Saturday-Sunday, September 29-30, at Cal Maritime’s PE & Aquatics Center in Vallejo, Calif., as the teams clash in 18 games.  Two weeks later the squads trek to UC-Santa Cruz’s Office of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports (OPERS) pool for the final 18 games of the regular season.

The results from the pair of regular season tournaments establish the seeds for the 15-game Sierra Pacific Division Championship slated for Saturday-Sunday, October 27-28, at UC-Davis’ Schaal Aquatic Center in Davis, Calif.

The victor of the division championship earns an automatic berth to the 2018 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship slated to be hosted by the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz., on Friday-Sunday, November 9-11.
