2019 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Due to an influenza-outbreak on campus preventing Saint Louis University from attending this weekend’s competition at the St. Peter’s Rec Plex in St. Peter’s, Mo., hosted by Lindenwood University, the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an adjusted schedule for the final 2019 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division tournament.
Saint Louis’ games will be considered forfeits with Calvin College, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Notre Dame and Miami University (Ohio) taking 5-0 victories. Further, the league will confirm with Saint Louis regarding the team’s ability to compete at the division championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 13-14, at Notre Dame’s Rolfs Aquatic Center. If SLU is unable to attend, the championship format will be revised to an eight-team event.
Due to Saint Louis being unable to attend this weekend. the league revises the schedule as all games will now occur on the hour and the four impacted teams will pick-up exhibition games to provide them the same number of competitive opportunities.
