BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Gannon University men’s water polo will have four new faces for the Fall of 2020 as the Golden Knights will welcome freshman Dylan Schmitzerle (Plymouth, Mich./Huron), Ruairi Murphy (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew), Thomas Koelling (Saint Louis, Mo./Webster Groves) and sophomore/former St. Francis College Brooklyn standout Vladimir Mickic (So., Subotica, Serbia/Nikola Tesla).
Mickic comes to Erie, Pa., from Brooklyn following a freshman season for the Terriers in which he recorded 52 goals with a team-high 69 drawn exclusions in the span of 33 games to help SFC to a fourth place finish at the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Championship.
