PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Brown University men’s water polo will welcome four incoming freshmen to the program for the 2021 season as part of the Class of 2025.

The class includes four student-athletes from the state of California with two attackers, one center, and one center defender. All four of the newcomers stand at 6-foot-1 or taller.

The Brown men’s water polo Class of 2025 comprises attacker Gabe Chang (Seal Beach, Calif.), attacker Ben Kirshon (Ladera Ranch, Calif.), center defender Ben Resko (San Diego, Calif.), and center Anderson Todd (Costa Mesa, Calif.).
 
Gabe Chang
Position: Attacker
Height | Weight: 6-foot-1 | 170 lbs.
Hometown: Seal Beach, Calif.
High School: Los Alamitos
Prep Accolades: Won team’s Offensive Player of the Year award twice … Gained Sunset League First Team honors twice … Garnered Sunset League MVP accolades … Took home Third Team All-CIF Southern Section plaudits … Earned four varsity letters … Played for coaches Sale Petrovic and Brent Danna … Also competed in swimming … Earned USA Water Polo Academic All-America laurels … AP Scholar and Honor Roll student.

Ben Kirshon

Ben Resko

Prep Accolades: Helped team win a CIF title in 2018 and finish as a CIF finalist in 2019 … Earned four varsity letters … Played for head coach Tommy Corcoran … Competed on the club level for Del Mar Water Polo Club; helped team finish in the top 25 in the country and competed at Junior Olympics from 2015-19 … Earned USA Water Polo Academic All-America honors twice … Gained a spot on the 2019 Union Tribune All-Academic Team … First Honor Roll and National Honor Society student.
