BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Charlotte Riches (Fr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) of No. 14-ranked Princeton University contributed three goals, an assist and three drawn ejections in a trio of games at the 2024 Aztec Invitational hosted by San Diego State University. For her performance, she is named the March 11 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
A first-time weekly award recipient from the league office, Riches scored once in a 9-7 defeat of No. 17 San Jose State University on Saturday, March 9. She tacked on a goal and an assist versus No. 12 Indiana University (10-9 L) and a goal with three ejections drawn facing No. 11 the University of California-San Diego (13-8 L) on Sunday, March 10.
