2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an updated 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division schedule as the University of Chicago is a late entrant into the division.

Now comprised of Chicago, Illinois State University, Iowa State University, the University of Missouri and Washington University in St. Louis, the Missouri Valley Division will contest its 21st season with Western Illinois University (2004), Lindenwood University (2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), Miami University (Ohio) (2007), Saint Louis University (2011), McKendree University (2021, 2022, 2023) and Iowa State (2024) each previously capturing the division championship. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regular season competition began on Saturday-Sunday, September 20-21, at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa, as the four teams at the time – prior to the inclusion of Chicago – clashed in an eight-game weekend.

The addition of Chicago changes the final regular season/second tournament at Iowa State on Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5, as 10 games will occur.  Games on Saturday, October 4, will use six-minute quarters with sudden death overtime and teams limited to one timeout per half.  On Sunday, October 5, contests will utilize five-minute quarters with neither timeouts nor overtime.

In addition, the championship format and schedule are adjusted as the event changes to a five-team format with eight games on Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, at Washington in St. Louis, Mo.  The division champion claims the group’s automatic bid to the Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 7-9, at a site to be determined.
