BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases a change to the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Club New York Division schedule following the addition of Syracuse University.
Now comprised of Syracuse, Binghamton University, Colgate University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Hamilton College and New York University, the division will contest its 23rd season of competition as Columbia (2001, 2003, 2007, 2013, 2017), NYU (2002, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016), Cornell (2005, 2006, 2011, 2012, 2018, 2024, 2025), Syracuse (2023) and former division member Hartwick College (2020) hold prior championship crowns. The 2020 and 2021 seasons were lost to COVID-19, while the New York Division did not contest a season in 2022.
Competition begins on Saturday-Sunday, February 7-8, as Columbia in New York, N.Y., hosts 14 games. The regular season concludes on Saturday-Sunday, February 21-22, with 14 games at Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y., to establish the positions for the 11-game New York Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 11-12, at Hamilton in Clinton, N.Y.
The victor of the New York Division Championship earns the group’s automatic berth to the 2026 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 17-19, at the Carlisle YMCA Aquatic Center in Carlisle, Pa.
