BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Elizabeth Hernandez (Jr., Murrieta, Calif./Murrieta Valley) of No. 7-ranked the University of California-San Diego “A” contributed 10 goals, two assists and three steals with six ejection drawn and a penalty shot drawn during a 4-0 weekend at home in La Jolla, Calif., to earn recognition as the February 16 Women’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division Player of the Week.
She posted a goal in an 18-6 defeat of San Diego State University “B” and notched a hat-trick with three markers in a 19-7 dispatching of the University of California-Irvine on Saturday, February 14, prior to racking up four goals in a 15-9 management of Arizona State University and a pair of tallies in an 11-5 victory versus the University of Arizona on Sunday, February 15.
