BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Avery Emison (Sr., Mill Valley, Calif./Tamalpais) of No. 16-ranked Northeastern University “A” posted seven goals, five assists, eight steals and four field blocks during a 4-0 Women’s Collegiate Club New England Division weekend at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., to claim the division’s February 23 Player of the Week award.
Northeastern – which clinched the No. 1 seed for the New England Division Championship at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Saturday-Sunday, April 11-12 – topped Boston University (16-5 W), Wesleyan University (25-5 W), Boston College (13-6 W) and Dartmouth College (19-5 W) to conclude the regular season with an 8-0 mark in division competition.
She notched two goals versus both Boston University and Wesleyan on Saturday, February 21, prior to tacking on a pair against Dartmouth and a solo tally facing Boston College in closing out the weekend on Sunday, February 22.
