BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) is seeking media relations interns for the Summer of 2026. The position includes working directly with the Director of Communications for the conference and will provide real world hands-on experience for the intern. The internship does not require the individual to be present in the league office during its duration.
Located in Bridgeport, Pa., near King of Prussia, the CWPA is the largest water polo conference in the country with over 280 teams and divisions through the United States.
Responsibilities:
This position will expose the intern to all facets of media relations, providing direct experience in the following areas:
- Writing press releases
- Writing feature stories
- Website management
- Photography
- Polls
- Awards programs
- Publications
- Editing
Requirements:
- Individual must have an excellent command of the English language and grammar. Ability to write copy and edit is critical to the position.
- Knowledge of photography is a plus.
Previous exposure to Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office suite software is preferred.
