BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — 14 athletes from five Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) institutions were recognized on the 2026 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Women’s Division I All-America Team.

2026 CWPA Champion Harvard University and runner-up Princeton University both claim four honors with Brown University (three), the University of Michigan (two) and Saint Francis University accounting for six accolades.

A trio of athletes post Third Team All-America laurels with Harvard University’s Maya O’Dea (Jr., Long Beach, Calif./Woodrow Wilson) and goalkeeper Orli Cooper (So., Greensboro, N.C./Guilford Home Educators) joining Michigan’s Ari Karampetsou (So., Athens, Greece/Costeas Geitonas School).  The award marks the second All-America nod for Cooper (2025 Honorable Mention, 2026 Third Team), the third accolade for O’Dea (2024 Honorable Mention, 2025 Honorable Mention, 2026 Third Team) and second nod for Karampetsou (2025 Honorable Mention, 2026 Third Team).

Princeton goalkeeper Lindsey Lucas (Sr., Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) leads the league’s 11 Honorable Mention selections by notching her fourth All-America award (2023 Third Team, 2024 Honorable Mention, 2025 Honorable Mention, 2026 Honorable Mention).  Brown’s Madeleine Poissonnier (Sr., Tustin, Calif./Foothill) (2023 Honorable Mention, 2024 Honorable Mention, 2026 Honorable Mention), Harvard’s Emma Gilbert (Jr., Santa Barbara, Calif./Dos Pueblos) (2024 Honorable Mention, 2025 Honorable Mention, 2026 Honorable Mention)

Harvard’s Niki Piovan (So., Vouliagmeni, Greece/HAEF Athens College) (2025 Third Team, 2026 Honorable Mention) and Saint Francis’ Caylah Olay (Sr., Redondo Beach, Calif./Redondo Union) (2025 Honorable Mention, 2026 Honorable Mention) take their second All-America notices with Brown’s Alexandra Love (Sr., Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) and Cleo Washer (Jr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach), Princeton’s Shanna Davidson (Sr., Huntington Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos), Olivia Krotts (Jr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Mater Dei) and Ava Houlahan (Sr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) along with Michigan’s Emma Gustafsson (Jr., Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) posting their inaugural All-America prizes.
