BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Bucknell University released a schedule for the 2026 Bucknell Invitational slated for Saturday-Sunday, September 19-20, at Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg, Pa., with Fordham University, Long Island University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Mercyhurst University, Mount St. Mary’s University, Salem University and Wagner College.
The two-day, 12-game event will feature five Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) contests as the Bucknell, Fordham, Mercyhurst, Mount St. Mary’s and Wagner tangle.
On Saturday, September 19, the MAWPC season kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Eastern as the Bison and defending league champion Fordham face-off. MIT meets Mercyhurst at 11:30 a.m. prior to Mount St. Mary’s taking on Fordham in another MAWPC contest at 1:00 p.m. Bucknell-vs.-Salem (2:30 p.m.) leads into a MAWPC showdown of Mercyhurst and Fordham (4:00 p.m.) prior to non-conference games matching Mount St. Mary’s-vs.-MIT (5:30 p.m.) and Wagner-vs.-Salem (7:00 p.m.).
Action resumes on Sunday, September 20, as MIT clashes with Salem (9:30 a.m.) before a MAWPC contest pitting Bucknell-vs.-Wagner (11:00 a.m.) and a non-conference game between Long Island and Mount St. Mary’s (12:30 p.m.). The weekend concludes with Mercyhurst-vs.-Wagner (3:00 p.m. – MAWPC) and Bucknel-vs.-Long Island (4:30 p.m.).
