A 2025 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) All-Conference Honorable Mention selection, he recorded 48 goals with 17 assists, 16 steals and 60 drawn exclusions in 26 games as a senior following a junior season in 2024 during which he notched 22 goals, 31 assists, 10 steals, 10 field blocks and 53 drawn exclusions over a 27 game span.
Prior to a 2023 sophomore season in which he did not appear in a game for the Gaels, Michlich began his intercollegiate tenure with 10 goals, 12 assists, six steals and 10 drawn exclusions in 30 games as a freshman in 2022.
