BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an updated 2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division schedule.

Due to the University of California-Davis “B” withdrawing from the 2026 schedule, the division membership adjusts to the California Polytechnic State University Maritime Academy (formerly California Maritime Academy), California State University-Chico, California State University-Monterey Bay, Fresno State University, San Jose State University, the University of California, the University of California-Davis, the University of California-Santa Cruz and the University of San Francisco.

The Sierra Pacific Division will contest its 15th season in the CWPA with UC-Santa Cruz (2011), California (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023), Cal Maritime (2019, 2024) and Chico State (2025) combining to claim all 14 previous championship titles.  The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The schedule for the lone regular season tournament at Cal State-Monterey Bay on Friday-Sunday, October 16-18, adjusts due to the elimination of UC-Davis “B”.  Games during the weekend will use five minute quarters with neither overtime nor timeouts.

In addition, the division championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 24-25, at UC-Santa Cruz changes to a 15-game format.  Games on Saturday, October 24, will use six-minute quarters with teams allocated one timeout per half.

The victor of the division championship earns an automatic berth to the 2026 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 6-8, at the Huntsville Aquatics Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
