BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Week 2/September 17 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for the National Collegiate Club Championship.
2026 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 2)
2025 Men’s National Collegiate Club Champion California Polytechnic State University continues at No. 1 n the 2026 Week 2/September 17 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Poll.
The Mustangs (100 points), the University of California-San Diego (93 points) and Texas A&M University (86 points) remain at No. 1-to-3, respectively, with the University of California (82 points) and the University of Southern California (75 points) both moving up two places to take over at No. 4 and 5.
The University of Alabama (69 points) and California State University-Chico (67 points) fall back to No. 6 and 7 prior to San Diego State University (58 points) leap-frogging the University of California-Santa Barbara (56 points) and the University of California-Irvine (51 points) to take over at No. 8.
The University of Florida (46 points) improves to No. 11 prior to a tie at No. 12 between the University of California-Davis (41 points) and the University of Michigan (41 points).
The University of Colorado (36 points), Michigan State University (35 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (31 points), Boston University (20 points), Dartmouth College (19 points), Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (15 points) and Iowa State University (11 points) complete the Top 20.

2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 1)
Due to no known competition among Division III institutions occurring to date in 2026, the University of California-Santa Cruz – which tied with New York University at No. 1 in the final 2025 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Poll – retains sole custody of the top spot in the 2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Week 2/September 17 Poll.
The Banana Slugs (95 points), NYU (93 points), Middlebury College (90 points), Augustana College (88 points), the United States Coast Guard Academy (79 points), Carleton College (71 points), Bowdoin College (70 points), Washington University in St. Louis (51 points), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (47 points) and Tufts University (41 points) complete the Top 10 as the rankings remain consistent with the preseason and Week 1 voting.
