LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — Siena University seeks a par-time assistant women’s water polo coach.
Job Description: The Assistant Water Polo Coach will support the Head Water Polo Coach in the administration and daily operation of the water polo program. Responsibilities include assisting with practice planning and instruction, student-athlete recruitment, player skill development, academic progress monitoring, game scheduling, budget management, and team travel coordination. The assistant coach will work collaboratively with Athletics staff, including Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, Academic Advising, and other campus departments to support the success and well-being of student-athletes.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to National Collegiate Athletic Conference (NCAA), conference, and institutional rules and regulations and contribute positively to the mission and values of the University.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and campus partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the sport of water polo.
- Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
Additional Information:
- Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
- This is a part-time position. Hours will not exceed 29 per week and may vary based on operational and athletic program needs. The anticipated work period is late August through early May, with scheduled non-working periods during academic breaks and portions of the summer. Hours may vary based on team activities, practices, competitions, recruiting, and other program needs.
