BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The United States Air Force Academy will provide live-streaming coverage of the Falcons’ meeting on Thursday, September 24, with No. 19-ranked the United States Naval Academy.
Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. Mountain/8:30 p.m. Eastern with coverage available on YouTube.
The game has special meaning for both programs as Navy and Air Force compete for the Freedom Vase – a traveling trophy between two water polo programs. The Freedom Vase games between the service academies began in 2009 when Bruce Hopping of the Kalos Kagathos Foundation created the annual game’s award. The Mids won the Freedom Vase in 2023 for the first time since 2019 and retained the award the past two seasons in Colorado and Annapolis, respectively. In the all-time series between the two teams, Navy holds a 26-11 record since the inaugural meeting in 1985.
