BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lejla Najarro (Sr., Boca Raton, Fla./Atlantic), Adeline Hanson (Fr., Sonora, Calif./Sonora) and Anna Schlegel (Jr., Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) of No. 13-ranked Northeastern University combined for seven goals, 12 assists, 14 steals and a pair of field blocks during the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club New England Division Championship hosted by Boston College on Saturday-Sunday, April 5-6.  For their combined efforts in helping the Huskies capture the division title and a berth to the 2025 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship at Colby College on Friday-Sunday, April 11-13, the trio share laurels as the April 7 New England Division tri-Players of the Week.

Facing the University of Massachusetts (15-7 W), Dartmouth College (14-9 W) and the host Eagles (16-3 W), the trio helped Northeastern to earn a trip to Maine this weekend. 

Hanson accounted for three goals, an assist, two steals and a pair of field blocks while also drawing both an exclusion and a penalty shot.  Najarro chipped in four goals, three assists and four steals, while Schlegel served as the teams’ facilitator on both ends of the tank by handing out nine assists and snagging six steals.
