BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Gannon University Athletics Hall of Fame will welcome eight former athletic greats as the Class of 2025 will be inducted on Saturday, February 8.
The Class of 2025 includes seven former student-athletes and one coach. Longtime Gannon wrestling coach Don Henry will be joined by student-athletes Larissa (Smith) Anderson ’98 (softball), Annie (Greenhill) Demaline ’10 (water polo), Mary (Eshenour) Mitchell ’11 (lacrosse), Marcus Jones ’20 (football), Liam Nadler ’14 (football), Amanda Teodorsson ’14 (golf) and Joseph Westrick ’20 (cross country).
The Gannon Athletics Hall of Fame and Induction Ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 8 at Gannon’s Yehl Alumni Ballroom in the Waldron Campus Center. The reception starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner. Earlier in the day the inductees will be honored at Gannon’s home basketball doubleheader against Indiana University (Pa.).

Annie (Greenhill) Demaline ’10 (Women’s Water Polo 2007-10)
Annie (Greenhill) Demaline was a standout on the women’s water polo team from 2007-10. She was a three-time first team All-Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) selection who ranks among the career leaders in several categories.
The native of Brea, Calif., and a graduate of Brea Olinda High School, she ranks fourth in career goals (209), fourth in assists (90) and seventh in steals (168). She holds the school record for earned kickouts with 91 in 2010. She led the Golden Knights in scoring her final three seasons.
(Greenhill) Demaline helped Gannon post a 16-11 record in her initial season in 2007. She finished second on the team in goals (51) and assists (34) along with ranking second in points with 85.
She would go on to lead the Golden Knights in scoring the following three seasons. In 2008 she finished with 62 goals, more than double any other player on the team, adding 14 assists for 76 points. She was also third in steals with 32. The 62 goals rank ninth in a season. At the conclusion of the season she was named to the All-CWPA first team for the first time. Gannon finished fourth at the CWPA Western Division Championships.
In 2009 (Greenhill) Demaline led the Golden Knights in goals (47), assists (17) and points (64). She once again paced the team with 42 steals. Gannon ended the year with an 11-8 record, finishing third at the CWPA Western Division Championships. The Golden Knights ended the year tenth in the CWPA final poll. She earned a spot on the first team All-CWPA Team for the second straight year and was also selected to the 2009 CWPA All-Tournament First Team.
(Greenhill) Demaline concluded her brilliant career with 49 goals and 25 assists in 2010, leading the Golden Knights in both categories. In addition, she led the team in steals with 40. She was named to the All-CWPA first team for the third straight year. At the time the 49 goals ranked ninth in a season.
In addition to her abilities in the pool (Greenhill) Demaline was a standout in the classroom. She was a two-time CWPA Scholar-Athlete selection (2008 and 2010) and 2009 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic honoree.
(Greenfield) Demaline graduated from Gannon in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education. She currently resides in Des Plaines, Ill. with her husband Kevin and two children – Harriet (6) and Cooper (2). She is an Instructional Designer for Envestnet, INC.
