BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kristi Spieleder (Jr., Torrance, Calif./South Torrance) of Arizona State University “A” allowed six goals over the span of four games – including a pair of complete game shutouts – during the opening weekend of league play. For her performance, she earns status as the February 28 Women’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division Player of the Week.
Averaging 10 saves per game, she also posted four saves as the Sun Devils topped the University of California-San Diego “B” (15-0 W), the University of California-San Diego “A” (9-5 W), San Diego State University “B” (6-1 W) and Grand Canyon University (11-0 W) at the University of Arizona during a 4-0 weekend.
