2018 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Women’s Division I All-America Team (PDF)

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announces the selection of the organization’s 2018 Women’s Division I All-America Team.

Comprised of 58 student-athletes, the team features players from 26 institutions as Stanford University (six), the University of California (six), the University of Southern California (six), Arizona State University (four), the University of California-Los Angeles (four), Brown University (two), Hartwick College (two), Indiana University (two), Loyola Marymount University (two), Marist College (two), Princeton University (two), the University of California-Irvine (two), the University of Hawaii (two), the University of Michigan (two), University of the Pacific (two), Wagner College (two), Bucknell University (one), California State University-Northridge (one), Fresno State University (one), Harvard University (one), Iona College (one), Long Beach State University (one), Saint Francis University (one), the University of California-Davis (one), the University of California-Santa Barbara (one) and the Virginia Military Institute (one) each garnered a minimum of one athlete on either the First, Second, Third or Honorable Mention Team Division I All-America lists.

University of Southern California goalie Amanda Longan leads the team as the 2018 ACWPC Division I Player of the Year

A three-time All-America selection (2016 First Team, 2017 Third Team, 2018 First Team), Longan is one of 26 players to garner multiple nods joining teammates Maud Megens (2017 Second Team, 2018 First Team) and Brianna Daboub (2016 Honorable Mention, 2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Second Team); Mackenzie Fischer (2017 Second Team, 2018 First Team), Jordan Raney (2015 Honorable Mention, 2016 Second Team, 2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 First Team), Julia Hermann (2016 Third Team, 2018 Third Team) and Kat Klass (2016 Second Team, 2018 Third Team) of Stanford; Dora Antal (2014 First Team, 2015 First Team, 2017 First Team, 2018 First Team), Anna Illes (2014 Honorable Mention, 2015 Third Team, 2017 Second Team, 2018 Second Team) and Emma Wright (2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of California; Maddie Musselman (2017 First Team, 2018 First Team) and Devin Grab (2016 Second Team, 2018 Second Team) of UCLA; Irene Gonzalez (2016 Third Team, 2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 First Team) and Chloe Barr (2017 Third Team, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Hawaii; Mia Rycraw (2016 Second Team, 2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Second Team), Bente Rogge (2017 Third Team, 2018 Second Team) and Maud Koopman (2016 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Arizona State; Kyra Christmas (2017 Third Team, 2018 Second Team) and Mariana Duarte (2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Pacific; Zsofia Polak (2016 Honorable Mention, 2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Third Team) of Hartwick; Maddy Steere (2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Third Team) of Michigan; Marisol Dakan (2015 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Brown; Kelly Matthews (2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Indiana; Hannah Schultz (2015 Honorable Mention, 2016 Honorable Mention, 2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Iona; Haley Wan (2016 Honorable Mention, 2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Princeton; and Kimberly Watson (2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 Honorable Mention) of Wagner.

The ACWPC All-America teams are selected based on nominations and voting by the head coach of each program by National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division (Division I, II, III).

Since 2005, the mission of the ACWPC is to promote the development and advancement of collegiate water polo.  This shall be accomplished by providing its membership with professional education, services, training and a united voice.
