BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announces 504 student-athletes earned Fall 2021 ACWPC Men’s All-Academic recognition.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete’s head coach must be a member of the ACWPC, while the athlete must attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher. Divided into three teams based on cumulative grade point average (GPA), 179 athletes garnered Outstanding (4.00-3.71), 195 Superior (3.70-3.41) and 230 Excellent (3.40-3.20) recognition from 46 teams.

Further, a total of 28 schools posted Team Honors for achieving GPAs over 3.0 with the California Institute of Technology (3.8) leading the way.  The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (3.76), Harvard University (3.65), Brown University (3.58), Stanford University (3.538), Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (3.53), Salem University (3.42), Bucknell University (3.38), California Baptist University (3.37) and Princeton University (3.341) round out the Top 10.

Wagner College (3.33), the University of California-Los Angeles (3.32), the University of California-San Diego (3.29), Chapman University (3.23), George Washington University (3.23), Mercyhurst University (3.23), Santa Clara University (3.228), San Jose State University (3.22), Occidental College (3.22), Fordham University (3.2) and Mount St. Mary’s University (3.2) rate at No. 11-to-20.

Fresno Pacific University (3.19), Austin College (3.18), the University of California (3.18), Concordia University (3.17), Biola University (3.1), California Lutheran University (3.1) and the United States Naval Academy (3.08).
