BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announces 805 student-athletes earned Spring 2023 ACWPC Women’s All-Academic recognition.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete’s head coach must be a member of the ACWPC, while the athlete must attain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher. Divided into three teams based on cumulative grade point average (GPA), 365 athletes garnered Outstanding (4.00-3.71), 292 Superior (3.70-3.41) and 148 Excellent (3.40-3.20) recognition from 56 teams.
Further, a total of 54 schools posted Team Honors for achieving GPAs over 3.0 with Connecticut College (3.79), La Salle University (3.73), Macalester College (3.71), Stanford University (3.66), Brown University (3.65), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (3.65), Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (3.65), Wagner College (3.65), Harvard University (3.61) and Long Island University (3.61) comprising the Top 10.
