BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Casey Barragan (So., Commerce, Calif./La Serna) drew three ejections – including a penalty shot – during a 19-6 loss in No. 8-ranked Augustana College’s season-opener at McKendree University to earn status as the February 13 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Rookie of the Week.
A transfer student from Fresno State University, she posted two ejections drawn with a field block in 10 games for the Bulldogs last year prior to joining the Vikings.
