BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lizzie Pelzman (Fr., Roseville, Calif./Roseville) of Division III No. 8-ranked Augustana College registered nine saves and six steals in a pair of games at the Convergence Tournament to earn recognition as the March 7 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
A two-time Defensive Player of the Week selection following a previous laurel on February 21, Pelzman made five saves with three steals in a 12-7 loss to Division III No. 6 the University of La Verne on March 4 prior to stopping four shots with three steals in a 13-7 loss to No. 9 the University of Redlands.
