BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalkeeper Susan Palmentera-Reid (Fr., Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech) of Division III No. 4-ranked Augustana College stopped 27 shots with a pair of assists and six steals during a 4-0 weekend for the Vikings at the 2024 Maclaester Invite hosted by Macalester College. For her performance, Palmentera-Reid earns status as both the February 19 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week.
She opened the weekend by turning aside 14 shots and collecting three steals in a 16-8 victory over the Virginia Military Institute on Saturday, February 17. A day later, she returned to the water to snag 13 saves, two assists and three steals in a 12-5 defeat of Occidental College.
