BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Austin College adds another trio of athletes for 2025 as attackers Sophia King (Tomball, Texas/Tomball Memorial) and Mikayla Arizmendi (San Antonio, Texas/Harlan) join goalkeeper Taylor Luckritz (St. Louis, Mo./Oakville) in Sherman, Texas.
They join newcomers/attackers Camila Diarte (San Antonio, Texas/Brandeis), Ashlyn Thomas (Winter Garden, Fla./West Orange), Clara Koenig (Cypress, Texas/Bridgeland), Lexy Hulse (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) and Sophie Johnson (Lantana, Texas/John Guyer) along with goalkeeper Amber Ortiz (Alvin, Texas/Alvin) as the ‘Roos seek to claim the program’s third league title following prior Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III crowns in 2021 and 2022.
Last year, Austin finished in second place at the 2024 CWPA Division III Championship hosted by Connecticut College and fourth place at the USA Water Polo Division III Collegiate Championship hosted by Pomona-Pitzer Colleges.
