BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Bianca Gallegos (So., Albuquerque, N.M./Manzano) of Division III No. 10-ranked Austin College racked up 11 goals, three assists and five ejections drawn during a season-opening weekend at the Bruno Classic hosted by Brown University and Harvard University to take the February 5 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Player of the Week award.
At Brown in Providence, R.I., on Saturday, February 3, the Kangaroos fell to Salem University (19-8 L) and the host Bears (17-4 L). Competing at Harvard in Cambridge, Mass., on Sunday, February 4, Austin dropped games to Siena College (20-11 L) and La Salle University (13-6 L) to conclude the weekend.
