BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Brooke Le (Sr., Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound) contributed four goals and an assist to help the No. 5-ranked Kangaroos of Austin College finish in Third Place at the inaugural/2022 USA Water Polo Division III Collegiate Championship hosted by Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. For her efforts, Le is named the May 9 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Player of the Week.
She scored twice in a 15-9 loss to Division III No. 2 Whittier College on May 7 in the opening round of the championship prior to posting two goals with an assist during a 12-9 Third Place game defeat of Division III No. 9 Augustana College.
The award marks the fifth weekly honor of her intercollegiate career after previously earning Rookie of the Week status on April 1, 2019, and nods as Player of the Week on March 9, 2020, April 4, 2022 and April 25.
