BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Joslyn Dimitri (Jr., Coeur D’Alene, Idaho/Coeur d’Alene) of Austin College recorded 21 goals, three assists, seven steals, seven drawn exclusions and two field blocks during a 3-1 weekend for the Kangaroos at Washington & Jefferson College in Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III action to earn the March 30 CWPA Division III Player of the Week award.
She opened the weekend by scoring three times in a 17-13 victory over Penn State Behrend before accounting for six goals in a 14-13 loss to the host/Division III No. 9-ranked Presidents on Saturday, March 28. On Sunday, March 29, she buried three chances in a 17-8 defeat of Wheaton College (Mass.) before scoring nine goals-on-11 shots, grabbing a steal, blocking a shot and drawn an exclusion in a 12-8 management of Connecticut College to clinch the No. 5 seed for the upcoming CWPA Division III Championship at Wheaton in Norton, Mass., on Friday-Sunday, April 10-12.
