BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lauren Olivier (Sr., Indio, Calif./Citrus College) racked up six steals, two field blocks and a pair of assists following steals for Division III No. 9-ranked Austin College in a 16-1 league victory at home against Carthage College. For her efforts, she is named the March 13 Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, Olivier helped the host Kangaroos make history by winning the inaugural women’s CWPA Division III varsity conference game in the state of Texas.
