BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Roko Pozaric (Jr., Zagreb, Croatia/Gimnazija Titusa Brezovackog) of No. 6-ranked Princeton University scored 10 goals and posted seven assists as the Tigers went 2-2 at the 2023 Overnght/Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Invitational hosted by the University of California-Los Angeles and the University of Southern California on Friday-Sunday, September 22-24, in Los Angeles.  For his combined 17 point output, Pozaric is recognized as the September 25 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week.

A nine-time Player of the Week (2023: September 18; 2022: September 12, October 3, October 17, November 28; 2021: September 6, September 13, November 29) and seven-time Rookie of the Week (2021: September 6, September 13, September 20, September 27, November 8, November 22, November 29) pick, he tied his career high with six goals and an assist in a 16-8 defeat of No. 16 California Baptist University at UCLA’s Spieker Aquatics Center on Friday, September 22.

On Saturday, September 23, at USC’s Uytengsu Aquatics Center, Pozaric racked up a goal and an assist in an 11-6 loss to No. 4 Stanford University before putting up two goals, two assists and a steal in a 9-8 win against No. 7 Long Beach State University.

In the Fifth Place game on Sunday, September 24, back at Uytengsu, he chipped in a goal, three assists, a drawn exclusion and two steals as the Tigers experienced a 15-11 setback against No. 4 Pepperdine University.
