BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jacques Defawe (So., Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge) scored 10 goals during a 2-1 weekend for Boise State University at the 2023 Men’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division Championship hosted by the University of Oregon at the Amazon Aquatic Center in Eugene, Ore., to finish as the division runner-up. For his efforts, Defawe is recognized as the October 16 Northwest Division Player of the Week.
Following a 5-0 forfeit defeat of Western Washington University on Saturday, October 14, he helped the Northwest Division regular season champion Broncos buck Oregon State University “A” via an 18-11 count by tallying six goals. He capped off his weekend by adding four strikes in a 13-7 loss to the host/Northwest Division regular season runner-up Oregon “A” as Boise State wrapped up a 6-1 conference season.
