BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Former St. Francis College Brooklyn standout Boris Posavec returns to the Terriers in 2020 as a student assistant coach.

Posavec, who is completing a bachelor degree in Accounting and Business/Management with a minor in Finance, is coming a senior season in 2019 in which he garnered Most Valuable Player honors in men’s water polo from St. Francis Brooklyn.

During his time with the Terriers, he posted 25 goals with 23 assists, 27 exclusions drawn and three field blocks in 2019 after notching 16 goals, five assists, 22 drawn exclusions, five steals and a field block in 2018 and 16 goals in 2017.

A native of Zagreb, Croatia and a graduate of Marina High School, he was named the best player at the 2011 Croatian Junior Cup by the Croatian Water Polo Committee and was classified as a Category V gifted athlete by the Croatian Olympic Committee.
