BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Elliot Dziedzic (Fr., Philadelphia, Pa./William Penn Charter School) of Bowdoin College racked up 20 goals during a 3-1 weekend for the Polar Bears at Middlebuy College in Middlebury, Vt., to earn September 23 Men’s Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division co-Player of the Week recognition.
Dziedzic scored 10 times in a 16-7 defeat of the host Middlebury Panthers, including eight first half goals. He added six markers in a 12-9 victory over Bates College and stuffed in four strikes against the University of Vermont in a 16-9 setback. Bowdoin claimed its third win of the weekend via a 5-0 forfeit defeat of Colby College.
He shares the weekly honor with TJ Matteini (Jr., Baltimore, Md./Gilman School) who notched seven goals, 12 steals and three field blocks during a 4-0 weekend for Vermont.
