BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Brown University, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) will combine to host the 29-game Bruno Classic on Saturday-Monday, September 3-5 in Providence, Rhode Island, and Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Competition begins on Saturday, September 3, at Brown and Harvard.

In Providence at Brown, the Bears will host Austin College at 8;00 a.m. prior to University of the Pacific-vs.-California Baptist University (9:15 a.m.), the United States Air Force Academy-vs.-Gannon University (10:30 a.m.) and Connecticut College-vs.-Austin (11:45 a.m.) concluding the morning docket.

In the afternoon to early evening, Brown faces California Baptist (1:00 p.m.), Air Force meets St. Francis College Brooklyn (2:15 p.m.), Connecticut connects with California Baptist (3:30 p.m.), Brown squares off with Gannon (4:45 p.m.), St. Francis Brooklyn clashes with Pacific (6:00 p.m.) and Air Force attempts to shoot down Austin (7:15 p.m.).

At Harvard in Cambridge, a quintet of games are on tap with the MIT taking on Wagner College (9:00 a.m.) and the host Crimson facing Fordham University (11:00 a.m.) in the morning.  In the afternoon, Wagner will attempt to stop Stanford University (12:30 p.m.), MIT confronts Fordham (2:30 p.m.) and Harvard confronts Stanford (4:30 p.m.) to conclude the opening day of competition’s agenda.

Sunday, September 4, brings eight games at Brown, four at Harvard and a single contest at MIT.

In Providence, the homestanding Bears will open the day at 8:15 a.m. against Stanford prior to Fordham-vs.-Gannon (9:30 a.m.), Wagner-vs.-Air Force (10:45 a.m.), St. Francis Brooklyn-vs.-Stanford (Noon), Fordham-vs.-Pacific (1:15 p.m.), Brown-vs.-Air Force (2:30 p.m.), St. Francis Brooklyn-vs.-Gannon (3:45 p.m.) and Wagner-vs.-Pacific (5:00 p.m.).

Up the road in Cambridge at Harvard, MIT takes on Cal Baptist (8:00 a.m.) prior to Harvard and MIT both attempting to tackle Austin at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively.  Competition at Harvard concludes at 2:00 p.m. with the host Crimson taking on Cal Baptist.  Across town, MIT welcomes Air Force to its campus in Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. to wrap-up the weekend schedule.

A single games is penciled in for Monday, September 5, as Brown hosts Pacific at 10:00 a.m. in Providence.
