2025 Brown University Women’s Water Polo Schedule
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Brown University women’s water polo head coach JJ Addison announced the team’s 2025 schedule. The Bears are scheduled to play 10 home games as well as hosting the 2025 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 25-27.
Brown will start the year hosting the Bruno Classic on February 1-2 as the Bears will welcome Iona University, Indiana University, University of the Pacific and Villanova University to the Coleman Aquatics Center. Brown will then host Princeton University on February 7 for the Bears’ first CWPA game of the season.
“Nearly two third of our games are against opponents who finished last season ranked in the Top 25 so we will be challenged to become the best version of ourselves both at home and on the road,” said Addison. “I am excited for all that lies ahead for us in my first year as head coach. It will be a busy challenging and very rewarding season for all of us.”
Brown will also host a weekend of CWPA games on February 22-23 when the Bears take on the University of Michigan, Saint Francis University and Bucknell University. The Bears are also slated to host Harvard University and Marist College on March 8.
Brown’s first road trip will be to Harvard for games against the University of California-Santa Barbara, Long Island and Villanova on February 8-9. The next weekend, the team will venture on its first trip out west as the Bears play in the Santa Clara Invitational on February 15-16. At Santa Clara, Brown will take on San Jose State University, Pacific, the University of California-Merced and the host Broncos.
The Bears’ second trip to Cambridge on March 1-2 will feature games against Mercyhurst University, Wagner College, Harvard and Siena College. Brown will head west for Spring Break to play the University of Southern California (USC) (March 23) and the University of California-Irvine (March 25) along with Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (March 26) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College (March 26).
Brown will spend two more weekends on the road, taking on Princeton and Mercyhurst (March 29) at Princeton and Saint Francis (April 5), Bucknell and host Michigan (April 6).
