BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Carissa Perez (Sr., Pico Rivera, Calif./La Serna) and Aidan Reilly (Sr., Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola) of the Brown University women’s and men’s water polo teams were among six water polo athletes recognized with 2020-21 At-Large Academic All-Ivy accolades by the Ivy League office.
Institutions nominated one student-athlete from each of its non-Ivy League sponsored sports to be included on the At-Large Academic All-Ivy teams.
- Carissa Perez (Sr., Pico Rivera, Calif./La Serna)
Psychology major…Two-time Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-America selection and four-time ACWPC Scholar-Athlete Team recipient with 212 career points- 73 goals and 139 assists. She was also a two-time Honorable Mention ACWPC All-America.
- Aidan Reilly (Sr., Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola)
Political Science major…68 goals and 88 assists in three seasons and was a four-time ACWPC Scholar-Athlete. He was selected by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to receive their Service Act Award for his part in forming @farmlinkproject in response to the global pandemic and the resulting national food emergency.
