BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Alexandra Love (Fr., Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) of No. 19-ranked Brown University posted six goals, three assists and four ejections drawn during a 4-0 weekend at the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University to earn status as the February 20 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, Love helped the Bears take down Santa Clara (14-6 W), California State University-Monterey Bay (14-3 W), California State University-East Bay (11-10 W) and No. 20 San Jose State University (10-7 W) during the weekend. Her best performance came versus CSU-Monterey Bay as she racked up three goals.
