BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Claire Pisani (Fr., Redwood City, Calif./Castilleja School) totaled 12 goals, two assists and four steals for host Brown University during a 5-1 weekend at the Bruno Classic to earn recognition as the February 3 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
She scored four goals against both Division III No. 3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (9-4 W) and No. 18 Wagner College (17-11 L). Pisani added two goals with an assist and a steal versus Division III No. 10 Austin College (14-6 W), a goal and a steal against Siena (14-3 W) and a goal, an assist and a steal during a 10-6 victory over Long Island University. In addition, she snagged a steal against Division III No. 4 Whittier College (11-3 W).
