He dished out three assists against Wagner on the evening of Friday, October 18, prior to registering three goals versus Pomona-Pitzer and two goals with a pair of steals in topping La Salle on Saturday, October 19.

He saved his best game for last, however, as Atwell ripped in six goals alongside a pair of field blocks and two ejections drawn as the Bears stunned the 2017 and 2018 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Champion Colonials of George Washington on Sunday, October 20.

He shares the Rookie of the Week award with Vladimir Mickic (Fr., Subotica, Serbia/Nikola Tesla) of No. 18 St. Francis College Brooklyn.
