BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lily Weiser (Jr., Long Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) of No. 24-ranked Brown University contributed six goals, three assists, five steals and four field blocks during 4-0 trip for the Bears to the Santa Clara University Invitational to earn status as the February 21 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.
She aided the Bears’ cause as the team topped California State University-Monterey Bay (13-8 W) and California State University-East Bay (7-6 W) on Saturday, February 19, prior to upending Santa Clara (10-5 W) and No. 16 University of the Pacific (8-6 W) to wrap-up the weekend on Sunday, February 20.
She scored twice against both Santa Clara and Pacific to help Brown as the program raised its record to 9-5 on the season.
