BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Madeleine Poissonnier (Fr., Tustin, Calif./Foothill) of No. 20-ranked Brown University contributed four goals, two assists, five steals and a field block in a pair of home victories versus No. 18 Harvard University and St. Francis College Brooklyn on Saturday, April 22, to earn recognition as the April 24 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player and Rookie of the Week.
A first-time recipient of a weekly honor from the league office, she tipped in the game-winning goal to claim a 12-11 overtime win versus the Crimson in CWPA competition to start the day. In the nightcap, she added a trio of tallies as the Bears dealt the Terriers a 12-6 defeat.
