2026 Bucknell University Women’s Water Polo Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Bucknell University released the institution’s 2026 women’s water polo schedule.

The Bison will open the year on the road at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., on Saturday-Sunday, January 24-25, as the team meets Iona University and Wagner College on January 24 prior to facing Siena University and the host Crimson on January 25.

Following a trio of games at Princeton University in Princeton, N.J., on January 30-31, against Long Island University, Iona and Wagner College, Bucknell travels to the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in Lexington, Va., for contests versus Salem University, VMI, the University of Toronto and Mount St. Mary’s University on Saturday-Sunday, February 7-8. 

The squad returns home to Lewisburg, Pa, for the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, February 14-15, with matchups with Mercyhurst University La Salle University and Mount St. Mary’s joining with the team’s opening game of Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) action against Saint Francis University.

A week later, the Bison welcome Harvard, Princeton University and the University of Michigan to the Kinney Natatorium for CWPA games on Saturday-Sunday, February 21-22.

A return trip to New England for showdowns with Wagner, Long Island and the University of California-Merced on Saturday-Sunday, February 28-March 1, at Brown University in Providence, R.I., is followed by a West Coast swing with a clash at Occidental College (Wednesday, March 11) before a quartet of games at San Diego State University’s Aztec Invitational on Friday-Saturday, March 13-14, against Whittier College, Long Beach State University, Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and SDSU.

The month of March concludes and April begins with neutral site CWPA games against Brown and Mercyhurst at Princeton in Princeton, N.J., on Saturday, March 21, before a non-conference battle with Saint Francis at home in Kinney Natatorium on Saturday, April 4.

The CWPA Championship to determine the league champion and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship qualifier will take place on Friday-Sunday, April 10-12, at Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.
