LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell University Senior Associate Director of Athletics, External Affairs and Bison Club, Todd Newcomb talks with current Bison head coach John McBride, senior Scott Little (Atherton, Calif./Menlo) and alumni Richie Hyden ’11, Brian Barron ’13, Mike Kimble ’14, Stefan Aleksic ’16, Charlie Niehaus ’18 and Rade Joksimovic ’20 about the men’s water polo program’s history during the period of 2011-to-2020.
During the period of 2011-2019, Bucknell achieved its most successful string of performances over the past 40 years as the team posted a 168-90 record under McBride with 14 All-America honors, three league championship title game appearances and a pair of Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) crowns (2016, 2019). The titles marked the first conference championships for the Bison since 1980.
