LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell University head men’s water polo coach John McBride along with athletes Jack Lewis (Jr., Wilton, Conn./Wilton), Andu Vlasceanu (So., Bucharest, Romania/Liceul Teoretic “Nicolae Lorga” Bucuresti) and Colby Paine (So., Larkspur, Calif./Saint Ignatius College Prep) recently discussed the Bison’s upcoming Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) title defense during a Winter 2021 season preview.

A seven-time National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship participant (1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1985, 2016, 2019), the Bison are seeking their third MAWPC crown after taking home the 2016 and 2019 titles.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCAA men’s water polo season is being conducted during the months of January-to-March – a change from the normal September-to-November time period.
